Travel Agent Academy
Palace Resorts continues its efforts in educating the members of the travel agent community about its services and facilities. On March 17th, the Palace Resorts’ training program was launched online at www.palaceresortsacademy.com . This extensive interactive program consists of 6 chapters offered throughout the year. Palace Resorts will give 10 prizes to travel agents whose test scores reach the 80% of correct answers required to pass the course.
Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort
RCI (Resort Condominiums International) recognized Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort and the Moon Spa & Golf Club with the Golf Crown Award for its excellence in hospitality.
This resort has a new coffee shop, “Sweet & Coffee “, with Internet access (additional cost) from 6:00am to 1:00am. It serves a variety of pastries and desserts, including bagels and crepes as well as a variety of coffees and drinks.

On February 25 the beach bar reopened its doors. The hours are from 10:00am to 5:00pm with snack service from 11:00am to 5:00pm.

Chaza Travel changes its name
As of January 14th, Chaza Travel changed its name to Elite Tours. Signs at the airport will bear both names to avoid confusion among passengers familiar with the Chaza name. This resort has a new bar. The Palm Bar is located by the main pool, next to Mar Intimo Restaurant. The hours are from 10:00am to 7:00pm.

Palace Resorts received the 11th Annual Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Resort/Hotel Chain in Latin America/Mexico from Recommend magazine, a publication for travel agents in the United States. The winners will be included in the December issue of the magazine.
By December 15, Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort will open the creperie Sweet and Coffee serving a wide a variety of delicious crepes and coffee- based drinks. It will be located where Bar La Jungla currently is.
In a constant effort to bring the best vacation experience, Palace Resorts features heated pools at Cancun Palace, Sun Palace, Playacar Palace and Cozumel Palace. The warm water with a temperature of about 86 degrees is certainly a great advantage during the change of season.
