Golfers are challenged to play at the only Jack Nicklaus Golf Course in Cancun
MIAMI - August 25, 2004 - Palace Resorts invites all golfers to participate in the Moon Palace Classic Tournament, taking place at the renowned Golf Club at Moon Palace in Cancun, and at the Golf Club at Playacar, Mexico, on October 25-30, 2004.
Tournament play will occur simultaneously at both courses.
The recently-opened par 72, 7,201-yard Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course at Moon Palace is surrounded by lush vegetation and natural lagoons. The Golf Club at Playacar, a Robert von Hagge course, is a demanding 7,202-yard layout that incorporates more than 200 Mayan ruins.

The Moon Palace Classic Tournament prizes at each course include: for a Hole in One, one luxury car; for the closest to pin: a Rolex and/or a Cartier watch. Other prizes at each course include: First Place -- four complimentary weeks at Palace Resorts and trophy; Second Place -- three complimentary weeks at Palace Resorts and a trophy; Third Place -- two complimentary weeks at Palace Resorts and a trophy. The Golf Club at Moon Palace was the site of the 2003 American Express Tour de Las Americas, December 2003, with the participation of golfers from South America, Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. It also held the 46 th edition of the Mexican Open and it's a strong candidate for the European Tour in 2005.
