Palace Resorts Introduces Two New Games to the
“Meetings Game” Website
Palace Resorts Provides Meeting Information in a Fun and Innovative Way

Miami, Florida, August 29, 2006- Palace Resorts, the company that set the standard in five-star, all-inclusive resort accommodations, is proud to introduce two new games to its “Meetings Games” website.

Earlier this summer, the company introduced its unique website, www.palacemeetingsgame.com, where meeting planners are invited to learn about the resort’s state of the art meeting facilities, spas and golf courses while playing a series of entertaining games. Along with the website launch came the release of the first two games in the five part series, “Golf Cart Rally” and “The Puzzler.”

The third featured game is called “Pirates of the Last Resort”. Here, meeting planners must rescue their clients from captivity aboard the “Black Berry” ship of archrival Canary Jill. Meeting planners must use their mouse to maneuver their ship across an enemy infested sea from Playacar Palace to Cozumel Palace in order to save their captured clients. Victory is achieved after battling through four giant octopus, several enemy ships, destroying the sought after “Black Berry” of Canary Jill and safely recovering the hostages.

The fourth game is called, “Tulum Raider: City of the Dawn”. Following the dramatic rescue of the clients, the meeting planner’s ship crashes on a deserted shore. Stranded and scavenging for food, it is discovered that the sinister Canary Jill is causing chaos again, this time stealing the blue prints for Palace Resort’s future addition in the Dominican Republic. In desperate search of this “valuable treasure,” the meeting planner, accompanied by the clients, enters deserted ruins and is encountered by a talking stone head named Olmec. By answering 10 questions presented by Olmec in Mayan hieroglyphics, the meeting planner obtains an item that will aid the group in escaping the island. The questions, however, can only be answered after the three pieces of the “Tulum Codex”, an item that deciphers the hieroglyphics, are retrieved through exploration of the surrounding two temples. Planners can use their mouse to click on the different temples until they have found all three pieces of the Codex.

“Meeting planners are a crucial market for us,” said Ginny Davito, Vice President, Group & Incentive Sales for Palace Resorts. “These games are a unique way to continue the education process in a fun, yet informative way.”

The fifth and final game will be introduced on September 22, 2006. The game will bring forth a new theme and be loosely based on the topography, amenities and features of another Palace Resorts property. Throughout the game, the meeting planner will once again be educated on the available meeting offerings customized specifically for the Palace property they are exploring.

Every qualified meeting and incentive planner that registers on the site and successfully plays all five games will receive a free two-night stay for two at any Palace Resort property and be entered in a drawing for the grand prize of an all expense paid, seven-night Palace vacation for two. In addition, five winners will be selected after each game for special Palace Resort prizes, like a free round of golf or a complimentary spa treatment. All prizes, as well as the grand prize, will be announced in October.
