Miami, FL, November 7, 2006 – Palace Resorts is pleased to announce Moon Palace Casino, Golf & Spa Resort,the latest addition to the Palace Resorts’ line of all-inclusive luxury resorts and their first venture into the Dominican Republic. This magnificent beach front resort, which is slated to open in two phases in 2008, will reside in the beautiful resort area of Punta Cana, located on the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic.

The resort, which is currently under construction, will be home to 1,743 well-appointed rooms complete with double-Jacuzzis, romantic balconies that feature remarkable views, luxurious Farouk bath amenities, afully stocked in-room liquor dispenser that offers premium night caps, as well as a mini-bar replete with sodas, bottled water and domestic beers, to name just a few.

In addition to the luxurious accommodations, the property will also be home to nine large outdoor pools, a full casino, eight distinct restaurants featuring Mexican, American, Italian, Oriental, Thai, Caribbean and Brazilian cuisine, six bars each featuring a different theme and offering top-shelf drinks, a theater with nightly productions, a luxurious spa complete with 54 beautifully appointed treatment rooms, and a disco where guests can dance until the wee hours of the morning.

If its business that needs attention, Moon Palace Casino, Golf & Spa Resort will also feature a top-of-the-line convention center with more than 60,000 square feet of flexible, unobstructed meeting space that is divisible into 32 sections through the use of the facilities ballroom. The convention center will feature individual lighting, audio controls, wireless Internet, digital display boards and air conditioning that can be customized for all of the meeting rooms. This flexible meeting facility is also an ideal setting for a cocktail party or festive get-together, being that it can accommodate groups as large as 2,560.

The first phase of Moon Palace Casino, Golf & Spa Resort is currently slated to open in late 2007, followed soon after by phase two in 2008. Opening dates are subject to change.
